Articles on SUCCESS.PH are written and maintained by the SUCCESS.PH Editorial Team. Because our guides deal with money, taxes and legal rights, we hold them to the following standards.

1. Primary sources first

Every rate, fee, deadline and eligibility rule is checked against the issuing agency or the law itself: SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG Fund, the Bureau of Internal Revenue, DOLE and the National Wages and Productivity Commission, DTI, SEC, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, PDIC and the Bureau of the Treasury. News reports are used only to confirm announcements and are labeled as such. Each article ends with a numbered source list.

2. Show the computation

Wherever a number depends on your salary or situation (SSS contributions, withholding tax, 13th month pay, final pay, loan amortization), we show the formula and at least one worked peso example so you can redo it with your own figures.

3. Dated and reviewed

Each guide shows the date its figures were last checked. Government-benefit and tax guides are reviewed at least every six months and whenever an agency issues a new circular, wage order or contribution schedule. Promotional rates (for example, Pag-IBIG housing loan promos) are marked as time-limited.

4. Independence

We do not accept payment to recommend a bank, lender, broker or investment product. When we name specific institutions, it is as examples of what exists in the market, not endorsements. Advertising is labeled "Sponsored" and kept separate from editorial content.

5. Corrections

If you find an error or an outdated figure, email support@success.ph with the article link and your source. We verify it against the primary source and update the article and its "Updated" date.

6. Limits

Our guides are general information for readers in the Philippines. They are not a substitute for advice from a licensed accountant, lawyer or financial adviser who knows your full situation.
